Registration will begin at 9.30am, with the AGM commencing at 10.30am.
Lunch may be booked on arrival and coffee and tea will be served mid-morning.
This year marks the hundredth anniversary of the Battle of the Somme and, to mark this, the guest speaker for the afternoon will be Arthur Gwynn, who will be talking about “Lloyd George and Mametz Wood.”
The George Family Name Society’s AGM took place at The White House Hotel in Sennybridge on Saturday, 3rd October 2015.
Jonathan Davies gave a talk about “The Life and Times of Epynt” – the upland area to the north of Sennybridge, bounded by the rivers Usk, Irfon and Wye, which was and is familiar to many Georges.
